Metal stamping parts of auto parts are widely used in industry and life. The quality of materials not only determines the performance of products, but also directly affects the process design of metal stamping parts of auto parts, and affects the quality, cost, service life and production organization of products. Therefore, reasonable selection of materials is an important and complex work.
The use and working conditions of each specific auto part of auto parts hardware stamping parts are different, and the load borne by auto parts is different, so the requirements for material selection are also very different:
1. The shape and rigidity of the car parts are not very complex, and the forming of the car parts are not required to be corrosion resistant. High strength steel plates with good formability and weldability are generally selected. Generally, high-strength steel plate and ultra-fine grain steel with strength grade of 300-600mpa are used.
2. Requirements for material properties of automobile frame parts: frame, middle plate of carriage and some parts used for support and connection are important bearing parts. Most of them adopt die forming process, which requires materials to have high strength and good plasticity, fatigue durability, collision energy absorption capacity and weldability. High strength steel plate, ultra-fine grain steel plate and ultra-high strength steel plate with good formability are generally selected.
3. Requirements for material properties of automobile cab parts: most automobile cab parts are covering parts with complex shape and complex forming, but the force is small. The forming performance of materials has become the main contradiction by using die forming process. Therefore, materials are required to have formability, tension rigidity, extensibility, concave resistance, corrosion resistance and weldability. When designing automobile sheet metal products, the variety of steel plate is usually selected according to the stress condition and shape complexity of sheet metal parts. Generally, low-carbon cold-rolled steel sheet and ultra-low-carbon cold-rolled steel sheet with excellent drawing performance are selected.
