However, due to the continuous expansion of auto parts enterprises and the slow growth of auto demand, the overall production and sales rate of auto parts industry will decline, with a slight overcapacity, especially for products with low added value.

Auto parts suppliers can be divided into three levels according to their supplier status:

1. The first level supplier supplies goods directly to the vehicle manufacturer, and the two sides form a direct cooperative relationship. First level suppliers not only supply assembly and module directly to vehicle manufacturers, but also participate in the R & D and design of each other with vehicle manufacturers. They are the suppliers with the highest degree of participation in the vehicle manufacturing process.

2. Secondary suppliers mainly provide supporting facilities to primary suppliers. Most of the secondary suppliers produce highly specialized assembly systems and module split parts. Some products of leading enterprises at this level have reached the international advanced level and are in the stage of rapid development.

3. Third tier suppliers are at the bottom of the auto parts supply system, with weak R & D capability and small scale, low-end products and lack of core competitiveness.
